Service Description

VIP Lakeside Pick-up‘ Drop-off (Add-on) Mountain Island Lake Cruises offers VIP Lakeside pick-up for those who have lake access from their home or community. VIP service includes pick-ups & Drop-offs when added to a “Session” or activity. As such, please select this “add-on” to coincide with the start time of your session and include the address/location in notes. Mountain Island Lake Cruises & their Captains prioritize the safety of guest and equipment highly. Request for VIP Lakeside Pick-ups are reviewed and ultimately at the discretion of the assigned Captain. The presence of debris, vegetation, and/or water levels less than 4 feet are examples of conditions or locations not conducive to this particular add-on. In the event the captain makes the decision to decline the request based on location, notification will be given prior to the session date to identify an alternative public access location (i.e. or other two pick-up destinations “Riverbend Boat Ramp” & “Neck Road Boat Ramp”)


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund for a scheduled reservation, customers must cancel their reservation at least 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled appointment will not be eligible for a refund. Rescheduling Policy: Customers may reschedule their appointment by contacting us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to reschedule within this 48-hour window may result in the forfeiture of the appointment. Weather Policy: We cruise rain or shine… Plus what’s a little water when you are on the lake! In the event inclement weather or dangerous conditions impact the session. The reservation can be rescheduled at no penalty. Please note that adherence to our cancellation and rescheduling policies is essential to ensure a fair experience for all our customers. Frequently Asked Questions

What all is included?

All sessions include a vessel from our fleet of 2022 & 2023 Sea Doo Switch Jet Boats. This include all gear, life vest, fuel along with a Captain. Additional equipment specific to you session will be listed under your Session Detail.

How man People for Session?

Session can include up to a maximum of 8 people. Certain Sessions and events such a “Sandbar Session” can include additional parties but this would require additional vessels to support. 

Do you offer boat REntals?

Boating related session are all Captained by experience staff.

Do you offer Jetski Rentals?

Yes, we do offer Personal Watercraft rentals.

What Should we Bring?

Towels, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a smile!

Can we bring food and Drinks?

Yes, we encourage our guest to bring their own drinks and snacks. Guest can pack a medium sized cooler with ice to accompany them on their voyage. We ask no colored beverages or snacks that can stain.

Can we Play our own Music?

Yes, our fleet all comes Bluetooth enabled w/ premium JL Audio system and several USB and Lightning cable connections to keep your devices charged during your session.

Where do you Pick Up?

Mountain Island Lake Cruises will meet you at the Riverbend Boat Ramp (Eddie Nichols Dr. Mt. Holly, NC 28120) right next to the Hwy 16 overpass crossing the Mountain Island Lake. This location provides free parking for guest along with restrooms.

What is your Weather Policy?

We cruise rain or shine… Plus what’s a little water when you are on the lake! In the event inclement weather or dangerous conditions impact the session, a refund would be issued at a prorate amount for the time of the session canceled. 

What is your Cancellation Policy?

All cancelation prior to 48 hours before scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations between the 48 hour mark and 24 hour mark will receive a 50% discount. All sessions cancelled within 24 hours or no shows will not receive a discount.
